Voices of Authors 📚

Join me on The VoiceOver Pod, a Such A Voice Podcast as I speak with Florence Reiss Kraut as we discuss how it is never too late to start your dream career, what inspired her to write her novels, and what it was like to collaborate with me, Justine, on narrating the audiobook!

With this podcast, we are celebrating all women everywhere in honor of Women’s History Month 🎉

Florence Reiss Kraut is a native New Yorker, raised and educated in New York City.  She holds a BA in English and a master’s in social work.  She worked for thirty years as a clinician, a family therapist, and the CEO of a family service agency while writing stories and essays for publication.  Then she retired to devote herself to writing and traveling widely. Florence has published personal essays for the New York Times, and her fiction has appeared in journals such as The Evening Street Press, SNReview, The Westchester Review, and others. Florence lives with her husband in Rye, New York.

Florence’s first book, How To Make A Life, came out in October 2020 to critical acclaim and has been shortlisted for several prizes. Her second novel, Street Corner Dreams, is coming in November 2023.
